Safa Behnam, a 45-year-old resident of Sterling Heights, Michigan, shared that snagging a $100,000 prize from a second-chance lottery draw felt like an incredible early birthday present. He’s an avid player of the 500X Money Maker game and routinely scans his non-winning tickets using the Michigan Lottery app for a shot at the second-chance draw.
His persistence paid off when he clinched the $100,000 500X Money Maker Second Chance prize on Nov. 30.
“I’ve been invested in the 500X Money Maker game, aiming for the grand $6 million prizes, and regularly scanning non-winning tickets for a second chance,” said Behnam. “When I received an email notifying me about the $100,000 prize, I initially thought it was a scam. I even called the lottery office to verify its legitimacy. To my shock, it was indeed real.”
Behnam emphasized the timely nature of his win.
“With my birthday just around the corner, this win feels like an amazing early birthday surprise,” he expressed.
As for his plans with the winnings, Behnam mentioned a family vacation to Mexico as a delightful prospect.
