In a heartwarming gesture, Tim Conwell of Cedar Bluff, Virginia, emerged as the winner of a substantial $230,001 lottery prize. However, what’s truly remarkable about his win is his decision to share half of his winnings with his brother, Steve Conwell.

Tim purchased his Cash 5 with EZ Match ticket from the Virginia Hillbilly Market on Stoney Ridge Road in Cedar Bluff. The numbers on his ticket, a thoughtful combination of birthdays and significant family dates, aligned perfectly with the winning numbers drawn on Dec. 18: 3-8-10-12-26, securing him the impressive prize.

Filled with anticipation, Tim eagerly awaited his brother’s awakening to share the exhilarating news. “I couldn’t wait for my brother to wake up so I could tell him,” he expressed.

Reflecting on their longstanding agreement regarding lottery games, Tim disclosed, “We always say that if one of us wins, we’ll split it.” True to their pact, Tim affirmed his commitment to honor their agreement by sharing his winnings with his brother.

This act of sibling generosity serves as a testament to the enduring bond between Tim and Steve, showcasing the spirit of kinship and goodwill prevailing even in the face of a life-changing lottery victory.
