In an unusual discovery, a wildlife wrangler in Australia came to the rescue when a venomous snake was found inside a public toilet bowl.

Tennille Bankes, from the Wildlife Empire animal sanctuary and relocation service, detailed the incident in a TikTok post. Responding to a call about an unflushable blockage in a restroom in Goondiwindi, Queensland, Bankes encountered an unexpected occupant – a blue-bellied black snake, a venomous species also known as a spotted black snake.

Captured on video, Bankes skillfully used a hook to remove the snake from the toilet bowl, placing it into a secured bag for safe handling.

Following the rescue operation, Bankes ensured the snake was relocated to a “nearby bush land” away from the public area.
